David van der Hoeven - Director
David joined Clark Gillone in 1993, becoming a Director in 1998. His qualifications and experience, particularly in the pensions sector are widely recognised and he is a Senior Examiner for the Chartered Insurance Institute.
David is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and an Associate of the Pensions Management Institute. He has also been awarded the title of Chartered Financial Planner.
Graham Lennox - Director
Graham has over 20 years industry experience, initially with major Life Insurance and Pension companies.
With an in-depth knowledge of the financial marketplace, particularly in the area of Pensions, he holds the highly regarded G60 and K10 qualifications, and is also qualified to advise in the area of mortgages holding the Mortgage Advice Qualification.
Frank Gillone
After completing a post graduate Management qualification Frank entered the financial services industry in 1972, his early career being with Life and Pension companies. He joined a regional IFA company in 1986, becoming a Director before leaving in 1991 to set up Clark Gillone Financial Services Ltd.
Widely experienced in many areas of personal finance, Frank specialises in corporate services, investment and tax planning.
Christopher Dean
Chris has over 25 years experience in financial services and holds the CII's Advanced Financial Planning Certificate qualification in a wide range of financial disciplines. As a member of the Personal Finance Society his qualifications confer the Personal Finance Society Diploma.
Chris spent many years working with product providers in the areas of pensions, investment and tax planning both on and offshore and for several years he was involved in managing the UK sales operation of a global fund management business working closely with several of the worlds top investment fund managers. He provides a wealth of experience to clients and specialises in investment and tax planning advice to both individual and corporate clients.
David Reid
David has almost 20 years industry experience, initially with a major Building Society and then as an IFA. He progressed to the post of Branch Manager with one of the largest building societies before becoming an IFA in 1995.
His main area of specialist knowledge is within the mortgage market, and he holds both the full Financial Planning Certificate and the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice.
Drew Buchanan
Drew spent 15 years as a banker with Clydesdale Bank, moving into Financial Planning in 1994 with Friends Provident, followed by spells with Bradford & Bingley and Bank of Scotland before joining Clark Gillone.
Drew has attained both Chartered Banker and Chartered Financial Planner status.
Gavin Hutchison
Gavin has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry, having worked in various roles for major product providers and for the last 10 years as an Independent Financial Adviser.
His main area of specialist knowledge is within the personal financial planning and mortgage market .He joined Clark Gillone in February 2005 to provide the company and its clients his vast experience of the ever changing mortgage market and to develop both the mortgage and personal financial planning areas of advice.
Gavin holds both the full financial planning certificate and mortgage advice qualification. Gavin is based in the company's Stirling office.
Scott Gardner
Scott has gained over 20 years experience in the financial services industry and joined Clark Gillone in May 2005 as a senior consultant.
His knowledge enables him to advise on a broad range of issues and, having successfully completed the Pensions (G60) and Taxation and Trust (G10) examinations of the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate, can provide specialist advice in these areas.
Bob McDougall
Bob's long association with financial services began in 1975 when he took up a post with The Halifax. Moving to West of Scotland Insurance Brokers Ltd as an I.F.A. in 1983, he opened and developed a highly successful office in Paisley, becoming a director in 1987.
Since becoming part of Clark Gillone in June 2006, Bob has been able to concentrate entirely on seeing clients, offering his expertise on all areas of financial advice and on mortgage related matters in particular.
Bobs' qualifications from The Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland include all three parts of their Certificate for Financial Advisers and their Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice
Andrew May
Andrew spent seven years as a banker with the Royal Bank of Scotland prior to moving into Financial Planning with them in 1992. This was followed by spells with Bradford & Bingley as an IFA and Bank of Scotland where he specialised in Inheritance Tax planning.
Andrew holds the full Financial Planning Certificate and the Taxation and Trusts (G10) examination of the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate.
